2022 Glacial Till Pinot Gris

This wine delivers a swift punch in the nose with bountiful aromas of honeysuckle, pear, cucumber water and an array of mixed botanicals. Soft yet bold, it coats the palate and presents flavours of candied ginger, melting brown sugar and even freshly baked banana muffins. The rich texture lingers and carries a long finish, with a subtle aftertaste of anise.

We’ve always thought this to be the red wine of white wines – it has the weight, structure and richness to be paired with heartier heavier dishes with some nice fat and protein.  Fatty and oily fish, such as sable fish, black cod and Bluefin tuna would match well, as would a nice steak or a gourmet burger topped with bacon.
